The property is surrounded by 10 hectares of farmland with breathtaking panoramic views of the “Crete Senesi”, the clay hills of Siena. A picturesque cypress lined drive leads the way to the traditional Tuscan red brick Villa surrounded by a spacious garden with all the amenities to make it a special holiday with family and friends.

The Villa

The living area features an open-space kitchen, a dining room, a fireplace room and a TV lounge and boasts two covered terraces, one with a dining table and a BBQ and the other designed as a sofa lounge. The villa accommodates up to 10 guests in five en suite double bedrooms.
Bed sizes: 2 Queen beds, 2 King beds and 1 Super king bed.

The outdoor

The garden measuring about one hectare in size displays a 18 m. long bocce court, a 500 square metre fully fenced pool area with a 14 metre infinity pool, a dining area with an outdoor kitchen and a lounge around a firepit. A Jacuzzi for 6 is located in a panoramic terrace overlooking the tuscan hills.

The recent thorough renovations of the farmhouse’s interior and exterior provide all the comforts and accessories required for a truly unforgettable holiday.

Brief History

The farmhouse dates back to the years between 1610 and 1643. More recently, just after the turn of the millennium, Giulio Massari, a descendent of the family that built the farmhouse, decided to renovate the property for use as a farm holiday establishment. In 2020 Villa il Poggino was sold to its current owner, Andrea Buda, who thoroughly renovated the property to make Villa Il Poggino the refined, elegant holiday destination it is today.
