First it is so well located that it made all of our daily excursions easy. Second the house is perfectly outfitted for all of our needs. Third the staff was super attentive, nice and always available to help with our needs. A fantastic experience.Posted on Evren EryurekTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We stayed a week as part of an Art retreat in this beautiful spacious place - grounds are perfectly maintained, inside is recently renovated and every touch is in place from bathroom touches to floors high ceilings and retractable rooftop in the main bedroom to power chargers across the floors and rooms Nice jacquuze and pool (not heated 😉) on the facility Highly recommend this place for 8+ size groups of family for reunion - and they have their own label for their wine 😉 and it is tasty Close to many small towns for daily excursions Only 45min from Siena and maybe 60min to Florence Give it a try you will love itPosted on Michele RichardsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A spectacular villa in a great peaceful location. Exceptionally well stocked and fitted for a large group of friends or family. Close to all amenities easy access to sienna and the Tuscany hills for hiking and biking. Wineries are close by and the Chianti hills are within a 30 minute drive. Serena the host was very welcoming and provided great service. Our family trip was made the better for our stay herePosted on Diane AdamsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Villa il Poggino is not just a piece of paradise but a real slice of heaven, where memories are made to last a lifetime. My husband and I had the privilege of spending 6 weeks in this beautiful Villa, celebrating big birthdays and retirements. The villa is impeccable with a kitchen designed for Michelin star chefs, the infinite pool large enough for an entire neighborhood, the jacuzzi is in a perfect position to look at the night sky, and the bocci court that inspires some friendly competition. The real magic of the Villa is the exceptional service. The owner, provides personal and professional service and answers every request personally. It was a pleasure to meet him personally as he stopped by the Villa for a visit. He has prepared a guide that provides a list of services for his guests that includes activities, restaurants, chefs, drivers, photography, music and much more. Serena is the manager of the Villa and she provides concierge service equal to any 5-star hotel, she is available 24/7 to meet any need or answer any question. She was kind enough to unpack all of our Amazon packages that we shipped to the Villa prior to our arrival and have everything waiting when we arrived. She also brought us some homemade cakes with champagne and flowers. The cleaning services by Giulia completely spoiled us, she is a perfectionist and was able to navigate around our changing daily schedules. Palo, the gardener, is fabulous and keeps the entire property immaculate. His kind acts of leaving fresh eggs and vegetables was truly appreciated. The driving services provided by Salvatore were first class. They provided the car seats we needed and were always professional and on time and their vehicles were spotless..a shout out to Roberto for his kindness especially with the children. During the first two weeks, we were joined by our 2 daughters and their families which included 4 grandchildren (under 6 years old). We held our 40 year vow renewal ceremony on the lawn and had wonderful photos taken by Diego and we were serenaded under the stars by Alphio78. The food never stopped coming and was Michelin Star quality prepared and served by @Grazia. We enjoyed Castiglion Del Bosco wines brought to us by Selene, the wine hospitality supervisor at CdB. Selene is a super star and a celebrity in her own right. She is local to Buonconvento and everyone knows Selene! She assisted her aunt (Grazia) many times during our stay preparing and serving the most wonderful and memorable dinners, a friend for life and we will surely miss her. We were also joined by family and friends and enjoyed visits to the many wineries, and towns including Pienza, Chiusure, Montepulciano, Montalcino, San Quirico (a personal favorite..shout out to Lorenzo and his family at the Capitano Hotel and Omar the sommelier at Enoteca Ossena, great wine and food.). Some of the highlights were dinners in the Villa prepared by Sergio and Elisa and Francesco, which included a pizza making class with the kids and a pasta making class for the adults and of course Chef Grazia..best Lasagne ever! We will never forget our friends at the bottega_delle_carni..best meat in all of Siena. Thank you to Orlandi and his daughter Carlotta for bringing the Braciape to the Villa for a special preparation of the Chianina beef at sunset. We laughed all night and made many more trips to the Bottega del carne to visit with Orlandi and order beef for dinner. I will miss the ever changing views of the 360 landscape at Poggino. The sunrise is worth getting up for and the sunset is worth watching every evening as the stars shine brightly in the sky. We are grateful to everyone at the Villa and our new friends in Buonconvento for making memories that will last a lifetime. Until we see you again.Posted on Frank PrincipeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our stay at Villa Il Poggino in Tuscany was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the attention to detail, the high-end service, and the breathtaking views in every direction. The villa itself is beautifully maintained with everything you could possibly need — and more. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, and we spent countless hours around the outdoor kitchen and dining area, enjoying unforgettable meals with stunning scenery as our backdrop. The pool was a highlight — we spent entire days there with our family, relaxing, laughing, and soaking up the Tuscan sun. The owner Andrea and the wonderful staff Serena and Julia were beyond fantastic and made you feel like family !! This was truly one of the most memorable family vacations we’ve ever had. Villa Il Poggino gave us an experience beyond anything we could have imagined. We couldn’t have asked for more, and we will definitely be back. Unforgettable in every way.Posted on Lauren CelliTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have traveled all over Italy and nothing compares to the beauty, comfort , authenticity and views of Villa il Poggino! The Villa comfortably fit my entire family, 6 adults and 3 children. My favorite part of this Villa is the outdoor space. Two stunning outdoor dining areas, a new sleek infinity pool, bocce courts, fire pit, and 360 degree view. When you book Villa il Poggino you will be fully supported with the best house manager and cleaning staff. I also suggest booking the pizza party for a fun night!Posted on Chris WilsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stunning villa and the views are to die for. They are perfectly framed by both the terrace and the pool shelters. It just seems like you're looking through a camera lens whichever way you look! The description is accurate - 5 superbly appointed bedrooms, all ensuite and AC. Particularly well equipped kitchen. We loved the pool area and the bocce court. The pool "beds" were an eye opener - I couldn't believe they were able to go in the water! Consequently, we spent most of the time floating around reading our books, dangling our feet in to keep cool! Andrea, the owner and Serena, the housekeeper are very welcoming and reply very quickly to any queries via WhatsApp. Giulia, the cleaner, was very discreet and we hardly noticed her there at all (apart from having empty bins and freshly made beds everyday!) It felt like home from home, rather than a sterile rental property; We did a wine tasting at Val di Suga - booked the day before - but there are many to choose from. Siena is an easy drive and by far the most beautiful city in Tuscany (imo!). Of the smaller towns around, we found Pienza to be less touristy and good for a lunchtime visit. Nice to be able to walk out from the villa - but we were happy to get a lift back up the hill from Buonconvento! For our family, this was money well spent and we had one of our most relaxing Italian holidays. Would I go back? Would I recommend? Absolutely on both counts.Posted on Tim en VeerleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a lovely stay at Villa il Poggino. Balm for the urban soul.Posted on Robby RiganoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We spent two unforgettable weeks at Villa Il Poggino celebrating our 50th birthday with a group of friends. From the moment we booked, Andrea and Serena provided exceptional guidance and hospitality from the time we booked through the end of our stay. This villa is a treasure, seamlessly blending Tuscan charm with modern comforts. Perched with sweeping 360 views of the Val d’Orcia, every window frames a postcard worthy scene. Each bedroom features its own en-suite bathroom, providing a luxurious and private retreat for all our guests. The indoor and outdoor common areas are beautifully designed—ideal for both lounging and gatherings. The culinary experience was a highlight we’ll never forget. Andrea’s team of chefs—Grazia, Elisa, and Sergio—delivered authentic Tuscan meals that were nothing short of extraordinary. Grazia’s lasagna was so delicious, we requested it twice. Elisa’s pappardelle with duck ragù and her pasta making class were a delight. And Sergio’s pork in Vernaccia wine sauce and rich Bolognese are unforgettable. The villa’s location is ideal, just a short drive from Montalcino, Siena, Pienza, and the charming town of Buonconvento which is not to be missed. Villa Il Poggino is a true gem. We’re already dreaming of a return visit—or perhaps discovering Andrea’s new project in Puglia. Grazie mille for the memories of a lifetime!Load moreVerified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
